Cat Bite City

Jeff has been bit, not once, but twice by my precious Wendell. It will end up costing us a lot of money between the emergency room visit, urgent health, antibiotics, and good old MD follow up. Oops, I am almost forgot suture removal at the emergency room. I love my baby Wendell, but cats have pitfalls...and we have been having a few...Still cheaper than cats and you can't beat the purrs....:)

Hot and Humid

Blah! These days are nasty with the humidity sky high along with the temps. Throw hot flashes into the mix and it is miserable!

Sucking Spit

I just like the way that sounds....I have had 2 delightful days at the clinic this week....busy, crazy, fun, frantic.....Just enough to wet the whistle (so to speak) without being on overload...A nice week....

Work Week

A new week begins!! Busy at the job M,W, T, F....New stuff so it should be a busy time!! In other news.....I can't seem to get caught up on my sleep and it is wearing, wearing me out....Hopefully I'll drop soon and be able to catch up!!!! :)

Hannah Turns 13

OMG (facebook talk, don't you know), my god-daughter is now 13...She has discovered boys, make up, and clothes....I think I am old!!

Time Flies

Time flies....I have indeed discovered Facebook and that has left me with a computer that tossed it's cookies and lost my pics!!! Don't worry hon, you don't need to copy them!! HA! Still am mad about that one...

Also, just did my 5 year cancer walk...Did it solo this time...It was quiet and not too exciting, but glad I went....

Work goes well.

My poor Eli is starting to feel his age....We will see what happens there...You know mommy...She is a definite worry wart.....

WHY OH WHY

I AM IN CAPITALS BECAUSE I AM UPSET...WHY OH WHY DOES EVERYONE IN THE WORLD WANT TO SHARE THEIR CAT STORIES OF HOW THEY ARE GOING TO GET RID OF THEIR CAT....IT'S NOT THAT THEY WANT ME TO TAKE IT...NO THE RESCUE LEAGUE ROUTE, ETC...BUT STILL...WOULD YOU GIVE AWAY YOUR KID FOR DISAGREEING WITH ITS SIBLINGS, FOR HAVING AN "ACCIDENT", ETC...IF NOT, THEN WHY WOULD YOU EVEN THINK OF GIVING AWAY YOUR ANIMAL...IT'S A LIFETIME COMMITMENT PEOPLE, NOT AN ONLY WHEN IT'S CONVENIENT...OTHERWISE, SERIOUSLY, HOW MANY OF YOU WOULD HAVE KIDS....I MEAN REALLY.....I DON'T WANT TO KNOW....I CAN'T TAKE THEM ALL IN.....AND I DON'T REALLY WANT TO KNOW THE DETAILS OF SOMEONE ELSE THAT I CAN'T SAVE...PEOPLE....I'LL KEEP MY CATS..
