Thanksgiving 2010

No friends, no family, just a quiet time at home with hubby and cats and lasagna!! We went to bed early and I worked Friday early at 3:30 a.m. I did some solitary shopping and spent little and treated myself to a hot chocolate and came home....Not one for the books, except for the absolutely laugh out loud hilarious texts from my god-daughter....That made the day itself!! It's Saturday...a second helping of HP 7?? Maybe....Maybe this time I wouldn't have adults talking behind me and I could jump into the movie entirely.....Hmmmm...maybe...

The best of the movies so far...No I am not changing the HP 6 widget...I love that pic, but 7, with all the symbolism, and the characters (and actors!) that have grown so much, is the best of the series so far...Six more months until the 2nd half and the end of the movies.... A long ride, but it was well, well worth the trip.

Harry Potter 6 opens on Wednesday....The night before is midnight showing and it is sold out......I am thinking about Wednesday, but may wait....May wait and go to a nine o clock showing and hope to miss tons of kids...I am hoping they have it in more than one theatre. If so that will be ideal....I know I will get a good seating that way.....Two more days....WOW 2 MORE DAYS!

WHAT IN BLUE BLAZES??!!

HARRY POTTER 6 PUSHED BACK 6 MONTHS!! WHAT THE HEDOUBLEHOCKEYSTICKS IS GOING ON???????? ADD TO THAT THEY ARE SPLITTING 7 INTO 2 MOVIES!!! I KNOW HARRY MAKES MONEY, BUT WHAT ARE THEY THINKING, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH AND THIS IS RIDICULOUS. I AM SOOO DISAPPOINTED IN THEM FOR THIS DECISION I CAN'T EVEN SEE STRAIGHT!! (NOTE ALL CAPITALS) I'M SHOCKED, DISGUSTED, AND PO'D TO SAY THE LEAST----------BLAHHHH

Today's the Day

Well, the day is finally here and book #4 is coming out in a few hours (for those of us crazy enough to go at midnight). I am excited for Breaking Dawn and while I probably won't stay up and read the whole thing like I did for HP 7, I am happy for another great story. On that note, I also registered for my copy of The Tales of Beetle the Bard, while it might not be Harry Potter, it will probably get me to give 7 another read, and maybe 6 first so I am ready for the movie...........Great to have some good books in the future!!!!!!!

Harry Potter in 124 days!!! Hard to believe!!!!
I am absolutely in love with the Dumbledore and Harry poster showing them walking away together. Absolutely love it......................Somehow I don't think my hubby would like it hanging in our house, but a (dorky)girl can dream.

Allergic Conjunctivitis

I don't know about you, but even the name sounds terrible. Maybe it's supposed to match the patient, I don't know but I always feel like c--- when I have the stuff. Work sent me to the doctor, didn't want to be at work anyway, and the doctor sent me home with a prescription for drops. I'm not contagious, just feel like doody. Add to that she wouldn't cancel my appointment for next week. Double yuck! I should be happy they keep a close eye on me, but I am just tired of doctors.....and itchy eyes.........and long waits for Harry Potter movies..................

Booking It, But Pacing Myself

I finished the Twilight book. It was fantastic....I will start the 2nd one tonite. I bought #3 and put a reserve in for #4. There is supposed to be a midnight deal going on like they did with Harry Potter. Don't know if I will go that far, but the books are looking like they will be a good read. I just hope I can make the other two last a week or so, I hope...
